3. Purpose of Processing & Tax Compliance
We collect and process your personal information strictly for legitimate charitable, operational, and statutory compliance purposes:
- Issuing 80G Tax Receipts: Generating signed digital 80G tax receipts and filing statutory Statement of Donations in Form 10BD with the Income Tax Department of India so that donors can claim income tax deductions under Section 80G.
- Financial Auditing & Governance: Maintaining complete, audit-ready financial books subject to chartered accountant audits and charity commissioner compliance.
- Operational Field Relief: Coordinating volunteer deployment, distributing blankets, food rations, tree saplings, and organizing rural medical health checkups.
- Donor Communication & Transparency: Sending quarterly impact reports, ground photos, and annual activity summaries to keep you informed of how your donations are utilized. You may opt out of non-statutory updates at any time.
- Fraud Prevention & Security: Verifying genuine donations against bank credits to prevent unauthorized or fraudulent transaction claims.
4. Financial & Payment Security
All donations are received directly through verified banking instruments — including direct bank NEFT/IMPS/RTGS transfers or National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) approved UPI applications scanning our official organization QR code. At no point does our website capture, process, or store credit card numbers, debit card PINs, CVV codes, or UPI security passwords.
Our web traffic is encrypted with industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS) to prevent interception during transit.
6. Data Retention & Archival
In accordance with Section 44AA of the Indian Income Tax Act and applicable trust regulations, records of financial contributions, donation verification forms, and 80G receipt counterfoils must be retained for a mandatory minimum statutory period of 7 (seven) financial years.
Non-financial volunteer inquiries and contact messages are reviewed periodically and securely purged once their operational purpose has been concluded.
8. Your Data Protection Rights
In accordance with applicable data protection norms and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you possess the following rights regarding your personal data:
*Please note that statutory data retention mandates (e.g. Income Tax donation receipts) supersede voluntary deletion requests as required by law.
9. Protection of Children's Privacy
While our charitable mission actively supports underprivileged children through foundational education, clothing drives, and nutrition relief, our website is not targeted directly to minors under 18 years of age. All online financial donations must be made by individuals of legal contractual age. Photographs of beneficiaries in our ground media archives are published with community consensus solely for nonprofit transparency and reporting.
